Youth of Rainbow is pleased to announce the start of the project "Homophobia should have died - not Youth of Rainbow" partly funded by Alert Fund for Youth. The project aims to unlock the potential of LGBT individuals by empowering with necessary skills and inspire them to rise up to defend their rights and interests as equal citizens in an organized manner in order to lessen the violence, discrimination and human rights abuses that LGBT people suffer on a daily basis, and improve respect and understanding of LGBT issue.
The Alert Fund for Youth is an independent fund which supports progressive projects for young people.
It provides funding to diverse range projects like skills training for activists, protest rallies, recycle camps for youth, a LGTB coming out book (where it’s still needed), demonstrations all over the continent, awareness rap collabo’s, refugee camp art projects, anti-fracking protests, politically charged debate nights, theater about societies taboos, student congresses etc.
